IntelliGene^® Cyano CHIP Ver.2.0 is a product which is arrayed and immobilized with the DNA fragments of ORF (Open Reading Frame) derived from Synechocystis sp. PCC6803, a photosynthetic gram-negative bacterium on a slide glass. Approximately 2,950 DNA fragments are arrayed, which cover about 95% of total ORFs. Also DNA fragments derived from other species such as human TFR are spotted on this product as negative control spots for hybridization. These DNA fragments are arrayed at the colored area on the slide glass figure. The expression of each gene can be simultaneously analyzed through hybridization of the probes which are prepared by using total RNA obtained from Synechocysis sp. as a template. Control spots can be used to determine the background level.
