TaKaRa IntelliGene®
HS Human Expression CHIP is a microarray immobilized
with approximately 16,600 human genes which are reported
to have more secured expression, based on NCBI Reference
Sequence (RefSeq). The spotted DNA regions are designed
to be lee than 1.5 kb from the 3'-end of RNA transcript,
and about 300 bp length of each gene which have minimal
homology against other genes registered at cDNA
database, are spotted on this DNA microarray.
Accordingly, the obtained analysis data with this
microarray reflects each RNA transcript more correctly.
In addition, the sense strands of cDNA are immobilized
on the slide through covalent bond, at this microarray
utilizes TaKaRa-Hubble Slide Glass which offers high
immobilization efficiency and lower background.

The expression of each gene
can be simultaneously analyzed through hybridization of
the probes which are prepared by using RNA (total RNA or
polyA+ RNA) obtained from mouse cells as a
template. Control spots can be used to normalize the
signal intensity between fluorescence-labeled probes and
to determine the background level.

Usage
Refer to
the attached IntelliGene™
Users Manual. In case of detection by
Affymetrix Array Scanner, load the
microarray onto the scanner to face the
label side. Set the parameters for
reading positions as follows.
