IntelliGene® II Mouse CHIP

IntelliGene® II Mouse CHIP is a product which is arrayed and immobilized with approximately 4280 cDNA fragments of mouse identified genes on a slide glass. Approximately 300 bp cDNA region of each gene, which have minimal homology against other genes registered at cDNA database, are spotted on this DNA microarray. Also DNA fragments derived from mouse housekeeping genes such as β-actin and derived from other species such as lambda DNA are spotted on this products as control spots for hybridization. These DNA fragments are arrayed at the colored area on the slide glass figure.

The expression of each gene can be simultaneously analyzed through hybridization of the probes which are prepared by using RNA (total RNA or polyA+ RNA) obtained from mouse cells as a template. Control spots can be used to normalize the signal intensity between fluorescence-labeled probes and to determine the background level.
