TaKaRa IntelliGene^® PD Human PREB CHIP is a DNA microarray immobilized with 225 human genes which are reported to have more secured expression, selected by the "Subsequent Subtraction " procedure.* The spotted cDNA regions are predominantly expressed in blood cells. On the other hand, the spotted genes are proved the specific expression by the Northern hybridization in blood cells. The expression of each gene can be simultaneously analyzed through hybridization of the targets which were prepared by using RNA (total RNA or polyA⁺RNA ) obtained from human blood cells as template. This microarray is also spotted with following DNA fragments as control and these control spots can be used to normalize the signal intensity between fluorescence-labeled targets and to determine the background lebel.
