This product is RNA fragments (about 1.0 kb) attached with polyA, which were synthesized by in vitro transcription using lambda DNA as a template. These RNA fragments have the sequence complementary with lambda DNA fragments (lambda 1000 or lambda DNA-A), which are spotted as a control on the products of Takara's DNA Microarrays.

Usage
Before the fluorescence-labeling reaction, add the appropriate amount of this product into RNA sample. Then label the sample and use it as the probe. By adding the same amount of this product to both reference and test sample, normalization after the labeling will be possible. In case of using Takara's DNA Microarrays for eukaryote, it is recommended to add 100-500 pg of this product into each RNA sample and perform the labeling reaction.

Note
Avoid freeze-thawing of RNAs, which are liable to disintegrate. Store the RNAs separately in each small amount after diluting them to appropriate concentration by DEPC treated water.
